Voicu & Ana Marian
|Biography||Mission Field||Prayer||Key Ministries||Tools|
After living for many years in the US where they came to know Jesus Christ and His saving grace, Voicu and Ana Marian responded to God's call and returned to their native Romaina with a burden for the lost. They live in the village of Orlat where Voic has a woodworking school. Voicu and Ana have two adult children. Christina has completed upper graduate studies and works in the U.S. Their son, John lives and works near his parents in Romania and enjoys his hobby of BMX biking.
The Marians returned to Romania with the desire to connect with and share Christ's love with people in their homeland. Initially, they were house-parents and support to orphaned girls who had reached adulthood within the instutional system orphanages. These young women needed to experience a home and enjoy the safety net of loving adults to support them as they stepped into the working world. As the girls grew beyond needing help, Voicu and Ana spent more and more time in the village of Orlat, providing English and woodworking classes to the local children. Over time, they saw doors opening. They built a home and a woodworking shop in the village and open their home for classes in cooking, tutoring of English, woodworking, and God-ordained conversations.
Voicu and Ana have watched young people grow and mature in their faith. They continue to watch as God opens doors and closes others as He deems best. They are grateful to be wittnesses to God's leading and blessing in their area of Romania.
Pray that the Marians will remain faithful to Christ's call, while loving the people right where they are. Pray also for the young men using the bike park on their property.
